About Us
Our Story
Granite Property Maintenance was founded by Donn Blasi after years of building experience in a wide variety of industries. During high school, Donn worked for local contractors as a laborer doing concrete work and other residential construction projects. After that, he moved into hotel maintenance, performing repairs, upkeep and overseeing the remodel of 3 major hotels in the San Diego area. After completing those remodels and wanting to challenge himself further, Donn became a NATE Certified hvac repair and installation technician, leading installation crews, designing residential and commercial heating and air systems as well as diagnosing and repairing hvac systems county wide. During this time, Donn also refined his ability to work with metal, turning a passion into a viable skill. Donn has since worked at the highest level as a metal fabricator, building everything from 6 figure race cars to custom gates.

We cannot bill your insurance, but we will provide all the documentation that you need to file for reimbursement.
All of our estimates include a fully detailed scope of the work to be completed. You will receive a written report with a breakdown of the cost and time estimated for your project. If the project can be quoted over the phone or email, the estimate will be free. If the scope of work involves items that cannot be estimated through these channels, an in person estimate will be required. We charge a $79 estimate fee for in person estimates that will be waived should you decide to proceed with the project.
We are classified as a Handyman in the state of California. We do not perform specialty tasks like general construction, in depth HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical services. We would be happy to provide trusted references for those services.
Yes! Short term rentals that are booked through sites like Airbnb and VRBO often require more frequent maintenance than owner occupied homes or long term rentals. We specialize in quick, professional repairs and pride ourselves on our customer service when interacting with both the home owner and the guests. We strive to make sure any repairs that need to be made when a guest is staying in the home, are seamless and do as little to interrupt their stay as possible. We also offer maintenance plans to keep you ahead of any issues that may arise.
No. Most of our services are COD.
Yes! We provide on call maintenance for several property managers. When dispatched to a property, we can either pickup keys from your office, meet you at the property or meet a tenant there if it is occupied. Once on site, we provide an estimate and timeline for your approval. Once work is completed, you will be billed on a net 15 schedule. Please keep in mind, any work done for a property management company is billed to the property management company. We do not bill homeowners for work contracted by your company.
While we realize it may be difficult for tenants to get repairs done on a timely basis sometimes, we cannot perform any work on a rental home without the express permission from the property manager or landlord. Please reach out to your landlord and ask them to get in contact with us.
